On the 2 August 2008, I along with 9M6TK and 9W6JJM went up to Laban Rata located +-3000m up near the Mount Kinabalu's Peak to repair Borneo Amateur Radio Club's repeater which is 9M4RBK.What we did is we fit in a set of new repeater Kenwood TKR-750 to replace the Motorola pair.
Division of job:
9M6TK(Timothy) carried out repeater replacement, rearrangement of cabling.
9W6JJM(Jasper) carried out repeater's antenna physical check.
9M6WST(James) carried out repeater's duplexer retune.
Antenna SWR is 1.2:1 and with duplexer's lost, total output is 18watt.
Coverage test done on the night of 2/8/2008 with a 2m net run by 9W6HI(net manager). Many stations checked in to the net from else where of Sabah, Brunei and via echolink.
Mission success.
